Fisher Family

Valley Forge National Historic Park

This was my second trip to Valley forge with the Fisher family. For this year's session we chose  to explore Washington's Headquarters where there is a really cool train station and wide open fields nearby.  No matter what time of the year you go this place is beautiful. But there is something about the excitement of the fall that make this time of year extra special. The air just feels different, especially when there are kids running around smiling, laughing and throwing leaves. The sun is still warm on your face but the air gets a little cooler and you need to bundle up and  give and get extra hugs to help warm you. You can't quite put your finger on it but you know the kids feel the excitement too. As a photographer it is really fun to watch and capture that excitement. The giggling is infectious. I can't think of a better place to come enjoy the feeling. Later on as the session came to a close we explored the Memorial Chapel where the architecture made for some amazing little wonder-filled expressions, on kids and parents alike.  Such a beautiful fun filled afternoon with a wonderful family.
