Hi! My name is Dori and here's a little bit about me...
First welcome to my little corner of the photography world! Thanks for stopping by. I imagine you are here because, like me, you feel that images are powerful, especially when life is happening a little too fast. Photography is a way to hold those memories close so we can take it all in and focus on what matters.
I started my journey as a serious photographer when my husband Joe was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. He was scheduled to be away from us for 13 months and at the time we had a 3 year old daughter and 9 month old boy/girl twins! It was an incredibly challenging for me both physically and emotionally. Photography became my lifeline. I poured over educational videos at night when the babies were sleeping and then chased them around all day with a camera so I could send the pictures to my husband. From there it quickly grew into an artistic passion and eventually what is now my business.
I feel lucky for so many reasons but most of them have to do with the life I have and the people who are in it. My husband Joe and I have 4 kids now and live in North Wales, PA. My other interests include gardening, painting, DIY projects, traveling, and of course spending time outdoors with my favorite people! We are also currently rebuilding and renovating our 1875 carriage/farmhouse so there's that added element of adventure in our lives right now.
